John Shelby Spong has finally had enough. So much so that he is refusing to debate the issue of homosexuality with "right-wing" believers who insist that homosexuality is an abomination and a sin before God. Spong is perhaps the nations leading theological liberal who has denied every doctrine in orthodox Christianity.In response to Spong "manifesto" to not deal with the issue of homosexuality any more because us right-wingers are too irrelevant to even bother with, then I have decided not to deal with Spong anymore who has become so irrelevant to actually point men and women to God that it is a waste of time. You want to know where liberalism leads, go look at Spong.
Spong is irrelevant because theological liberalism destroys denominations, churches, and the faith. Spong's own denomination is proof of it. By seeking to be relevant his accomodationism makes him irrelevant. What's the point of believing when believing is discouraged? What's the point of coming to the faith when the "faith" is not different then what you already believe? Why pretend to be light unto the world when you are just as dark as the rest of the world.
Liberalism is an empty chasm that offers nothing but death and hell.

Liberalism is just an extension of Protish faith onlyism. So long as you geniuses keep that foolish doctrine around all your churches will be infected with homosexuality.
What is Protish faith onlyism? Protestant faith only? If so, the connection between homosexuality and Protestantism doesn't work. The rise of homosexuality is the result of heresy within the Church. Just like the Pelagian and Marcion heresy.
