Is Wallis a Marxist?: A New Video Surfaces

Is Jim Wallis a socialists?  A Marxists?  That's the argument being made by Glenn Beck and other conservatives and libertarians.  I came across the following video that compiles a number of statements made by Jim Wallis that suggest socialistic tendencies.  These clips are convincing, but one must remember that these are just clips.  However, the ball is in Wallis' court to explain them.

My concern is that Wallis seems to believe that Christian charity out of a conviction brought forth by the gospel is enough to meet the needs of our day.  As a result, Christians need the help of the government.  Or, at the very least, government should spend more resources and care more for the poor, the environment, and promoting peace.

The problem with this assumption is that it is nowhere in the New Testament.  Jesus didn't council Caesar and Paul never led boycotts or protests.  Rather, they preached the gospel.  My problem with Wallis and others promoting the postmodern social gospel is that it is all social and no gospel.  We are neglecting the gospel and thus cease to be truly Christian.

Update:
Here are some more videos revealing what seems to be Marxist language.  But remember, these are only clips with very little context.  Nonetheless, these are insightful.
